International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women

Today commemorates the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women

ResultsinHealth is committed to making a solid contribution to the eradication of Violence against Women & Girls (VAWG). Through our M&E activities, we have been involved in various exciting & innovative projects that focus on strengthening the autonomy of women and girls, supporting them in securing their health and rights.

Using participatory and storytelling techniques, we aim to ensure the voices of the women and girls targeted by such initiatives are brought to the forefront and are at the core of program development.

Our team recently completed an evaluation of a project implemented by the Global Fund for Women, which aimed to develop working and living conditions where women are free from sexual harassment and violence. We collected stories of change among women garment workers, gathering insights into whether the project had been successful in empowering them to secure their workplace rights.

More information about this project can be found here.
