Nele Blommestein is a people-centred facilitator of learning and evaluation, specialised in utilisation-focused and participatory evaluations. She considers evaluation to be a dynamic, collaborative and co-creation process. Educated in information systems, Nele uses her analytical skills to comprehend quantitative and qualitative data to support informed decision-making of programmes in complex contexts.

With an extensive track record in the field of planning, monitoring and evaluation (PME), Nele delivers tailor-made services for NGOs and other non-profit organisations, offering over 20 years of extensive experience in the public and international development sectors. Nele is a leading practitioner in applying a range of participatory evaluation and research methods, such as Most Significant Change (MSC), storytelling through Sprockler and outcome harvesting. Nele has recently been trained in principle-based evaluation by Michael Quinn Patton. She lives in Amsterdam.

Karijn Kakebeeke is a visual anthropologist and a documentary photographer. She is a specialist in visual participatory storytelling methods, in particular in photovoice, PHOTO-MSC and photo-elicitation. Karijn has extensive experience in facilitating photovoice training courses and webinars, and implementing photovoice as part of monitoring and evaluation or capacity-building projects, both fully remotely as well as on location. She has used photovoice in projects in Malawi, Ghana, Nicaragua, the UK, India and the Netherlands, in Dutch, English and Spanish.

Karijn believes that the power of using images in research lies in the supposed simplicity of the medium, making it a suitable method for all ages and backgrounds. Photography gives people the ability to bring unstated assumptions to the surface and the possibility to translate experience into actionable knowledge.

Karijn developed the photovoice programme for Rutgers and co-authored the accompanying manual. She also collaborated with Professor Douglas Harper to write the chapter on photovoice in his renowned work Visual Sociology. Karijn has collaborated with ResultsinHealth since 2017, organising training and webinars, and serving as a trainer and evaluator for various projects.

In addition to her participatory photographic work, Karijn has worked extensively as a documentary photographer covering issues around migration and conflict in countries such as Afghanistan, Syria, Ingushetia, Sri Lanka, Kosovo, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Kenya. She has published her work in national and international media. She has also published a book on resettled communities in the Netherlands, following resettled refugees from their place of temporary protection in refugee camps or urban settlements to their settlement in Dutch municipalities. The content of the book has also been transformed into educational programmes for children at elementary and secondary schools in the Netherlands.

Bony is a medical doctor and a Senior Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Expert based in Indonesia. She has over 20 years of experience in training, planning, organizing, budgeting, monitoring, and evaluating different infectious disease programs. Throughout her career, Bony collaborated with partners representing governmental and non-governmental institutions, international companies, and universities in developing, implementing. She was an invited lecturer and researcher for numerous universities such as Otago University, Radboud University Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, and McGill University.

Bony has been working with ResultsinHealth since 2021, supporting the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in Indonesia. She has obtained a MD (medical doctor) qualification from the Padjadjaran University in Indonesia and is currently on course of completing a PhD from the Radboud Institute for Health Sciences in the Netherlands.

Eddah Kanini has a broad background in organisational development, monitoring, evaluation and training. Her topical expertise includes gender, health systems, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), climate change, indigenous knowledge, diversity, equity and inclusivity (DEI), and sustainable development.

For the past 13 years she has dedicated her time to working with local and international organisations and national and subnational governments to produce, transfer and use evidence and proven technologies to achieve development goals. Eddah has demonstrated leadership and management by leading teams to develop strategic plans, and establishing partnerships and collaborations. She is one of the founding members of Consultancy for Organizational Development and Research (CODR) Limited and of the Data and Learning for Development in Africa (DALDA) think-tank. As a leader, she is treasurer of AGDEN, Secretary General of MEPAK, Eastern Africa representative in the Board of the African Evaluation Association (AfrEA), and the sub-Saharan Africa representative in IDEAS.

With a strong belief in the importance of mentorship, Eddah has trained, mentored and coached teams in various countries. This has included:

• the Young and Emerging Evaluators under the EvalPartners programme
• the MDE Partnering to Educate and Coach Evaluators (The PEACE) Project, currently the Connexus
• youth entrepreneurs in the Global Entrepreneurship Summit attended by Barack Obama
• groups of women wishing to learn evaluation techniques.

Eddah is self-motivated and results-oriented, has robust experience in project and team management, and is investigative and passionate about conducting research and evaluations. She is an enthusiastic writer and has excellent communication skills, with accomplishments such as publishing reports and success stories in peer-reviewed journals and on websites, presenting and moderating at international conferences, and leading webinar presentations and trainings.

Saskia Ivens is an independent consultant on gender equality, intersectionality and feminist foreign policy. She has over 20 years of experience working for Global Affairs Canada, Women’s Rights Funds, the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), the United Nations, and international, Dutch, Canadian and other NGOs.

On behalf of ResultsinHealth and Ecorys, Saskia undertook a study on feminist foreign policy for the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which informed the decision to work towards a Dutch feminist foreign policy. She regularly supports Global Affairs Canada with the implementation of its feminist foreign policy, and has undertaken other studies and gives talks, presentations and workshops on the topic.

In addition, Saskia provides a wide range of advisory services on feminist planning, monitoring and evaluation. This includes baselines, mid-term reviews, evaluations and advice on project design, results-based management and theory of change, Gender-based Analysis Plus (GBA+), gender and diversity audits, and reviews of policies, programmes and proposals. Themes include sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), food security and agricultural value chains, climate change and education.

Saskia’s primary geographic scope includes Africa and South Asia, with some work in other countries. She has an MSc in Rural Development Sociology and an Advanced Master’s in International Development. She has lived in Benin, Canada, Sri Lanka and Zambia and has a good network of gender equality specialists in different countries.

Saskia has been collaborating with ResultsinHealth since she attended one of its trainings on participatory monitoring and evaluation methods in 2017. She has collaborated on various assignments for the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the review of the CAHSS programme of the Aga Khan Foundation Canada and the baseline study for the Green Livelihoods Alliance.

Tsitsi is a Senior Procurement and Supply Management (PSM) Expert based in Madagascar. She has over 20 years of experience in supply chain management, health systems strengthening, capacity building, logistics system design, product quantification, warehousing/storage, distribution, and inventory management. Since 2003, Tsitsi has been instrumental in helping national governments and international organizations identify PSM system redundancies and provide recommendations on practical strategies to ensure the overall provision of health services is cost-effective, efficient, appropriate, available, and accessible.

She previously served as a Senior Supply Chain and Capacity Building Technical Advisor in Namibia and as an independent consultant supporting Ministries of Health to strengthen public health supply chains in multiple sub-Saharan countries. Tsitsi has been working with ResultsinHealth since 2014, supporting the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in Lesotho, Eswatini, and Zimbabwe. She holds a BSc in Rural and Urban Planning (Hons.) from the University of Zimbabwe and a Master in Public Health from the University of Western Cape in South Africa.

Albert is a pharmacist and Senior Procurement and Supply Management (PSM) Expert based in Uganda. He has over 15 years of experience in oversight, auditing, and assurance of health commodity supply chains, strengthening health systems, health economics, capacity development, process management, and data analysis. Since 2004, he has worked with various development actors representing national governments, the private sector, and international donors such as TGF, United Nations, UNICEF, UNFPA, WHO, and USAID.

Albert has been working with ResultsinHealth since 2016, supporting the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria in Nigeria and Zimbabwe. He holds a BSc degree in Pharmacy from Makerere University in Uganda and a PhD in Business Administration from Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands.

Robert Anguyo Onzima is a researcher and implementer in health systems and holds an MSc in Health Services Management from Uganda Martyrs University. He is highly skilled and experienced in mixed-methods research and evaluation design, data analysis, report writing and translating research results into plans and actions. He has over 15 years of experience working in public health and health systems in developing countries.

In the past five years, Robert has been deployed to South Sudan by the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM). He has been supporting the Ministry of Health of South Sudan and UNICEF in designing and implementing independent monitoring of primary healthcare projects funded by the World Bank. While in this role, he has designed the monitoring strategy, trained data collectors, overseen data collection, analysed data and written reports with recommendations for action in the Rapid Results Health Project (RRHP), the South Sudan Provision of Essential Health Services Project (PEHSP) and the COVID-19 Emergency Response and Health Systems Preparedness Project (CERHSP).

Some of Robert’s work has included:

• assessing data quality using the hypergeometric LQAS approach
• conducting quarterly community-based surveys to assess clients’ satisfaction with health care and barriers to access
• designing and implementing household surveys, mostly using the binomial LQAS approach
• preparing presentations and sharing findings with the Ministry of Health, UNICEF and the World Bank country and headquarters teams
• helping to establish a community health management information system (CHMIS) in South Sudan.

Robert is highly experienced in managing large datasets and triangulating findings of data from different databases to draw logical conclusions. He led or participated in multi-country evaluations in Uganda, South Sudan, Mozambique, Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwanda, South Africa, Zambia, Pakistan and Indonesia between 2017 and 2023.

Robert also worked as a lecturer in the faculty of Health Sciences of Uganda Martyrs University.

Lise Paaskesen works as a consultant specialising in youth participation. Through research and evaluation, she supports the growth of international organisations so they can further improve youth well-being in developing countries.

She has 10 years of experience working on and with youth programming, including on topics such as gender, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), financial inclusion, peace and peacebuilding, livelihoods, refugees and advocacy. Lise has worked on small and large projects, including multi-country evaluations and research, across and including multiple regions, focusing on multiple topics, as a team member or as team lead. She has worked for a range of consultancy firms, international organisations and NGOs, including War Child, Restless Development, the Danish Family Planning Association, DanChurchAid, Peace Direct, Conciliation Resources and RNW Media.

Her approach to research and evaluation is to be inclusive, participatory and respectful of everybody’s background and experiences. She uses a wide range of participatory data collection methods. While she loves to travel, she is equally efficient and effective working with national/regional consultants. As such, she now works with international teams and remotely, engaging stakeholders in discussions and dialogue in online workshops.

Lise aims to make research and evaluation outputs, such as reports, an added value to all stakeholders. She is interested in learning how to adapt outputs to stakeholders’ specific learning styles, which she determines by conducting a short survey. In addition, she is an advocate for horizontal accountability. Based on her experience, young people want to know what their inputs and insights have led to, and horizontal accountability further strengthens the relationship between implementing organisations and stakeholders.

Rosemary is a pharmacist and Senior Procurement and Supply Management (PSM) Expert based in Tanzania. She has over 10 years of experience in supply chain management, strengthening health systems, coordination and facilitation of forecasting and quantification, procurement, storage, and distribution of different health commodities. Rosemary has a good understanding of the Global Fund’s PSM-related policies and regulations and has vast expertise in reviewing the procurement processes and procedures of health and non-health products. Throughout her career, Rosemary contributed to different national programs focusing, among others, on treating HIV, Malaria, improving maternal care, and lab strengthening in Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar. Rosemary has been working with ResultsinHealth since 2016, supporting the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in Zambia, Angola, Nigeria, Tanzania and Zanzibar.

She holds a BSc in Pharmacy from Dr. M.G.R Medical University in India and an MBA diploma from Eastern and Southern Africa Management Institute in Tanzania.

Hamisu is a pharmacist and Senior Procurement and Supply Management (PSM) Expert based in Nigeria. He has over 10 years of experience in supply chain management (Malaria and Injection Safety Commodities) and developing tools and processes for health commodity audits. Hamisu has worked for USG-supported projects in various procurement and logistics advisory positions, where he designed and implemented improved strategies for health commodity management systems.

He has over 15 years of experience working with the Ministry of Health and the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) in Nigeria to strengthen health products and the drug regulatory environment. Hamisu has been working with ResultsinHealth since 2018, supporting the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria in Nigeria and Malawi. He holds a BSc in Pharmacy from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria in Nigeria and an MSc in International Management of Health Systems from the University of Liverpool in the UK.

Martijn Vink is a medical doctor and epidemiologist with a long research history working on infectious diseases and public health in low- and middle-income countries.

Martijn’s research focuses on the effectiveness and applicability of specific infectious disease control tools and interventions in low-resource settings. In his 20-year career he has carried out research on malaria, leprosy, tuberculosis, cutaneous leishmaniasis, COVID-19, scabies, childhood vaccination and gender-based violence in countries including Afghanistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, South Sudan, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

Martijn has experience working in low-resource settings, in close collaboration with local research staff. He has given numerous on-site and online research trainings to local staff members, and has broad knowledge of quantitative research techniques, data management and statistical analysis.

Because of his focus on practical research using local resources, Martijn is also experienced in performing programme evaluations of health interventions.

Martijn currently works as a medical doctor/epidemiologist in the Netherlands and as a part-time PhD student at the University of Amsterdam. He has an MSc in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM).

Amira Hussein is a gender and development expert with over 20 years of experience working with non-governmental and civil society organisations in Egypt and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. She has particular experience in the fields of gender-based violence, human trafficking, human rights, education, child protection and gender equality. With a background in advanced research skills, Amira uses evidence-based practices to identify the root causes of and community-led solutions to violence against women and girls and gender inequality. She specialises in capacity-building, community engagement and organisational development.

She led UNFPA Egypt’s first pilot of the Generation Dialogue approach, with a focus on eliminating female genital mutilation (FGM). She also spearheaded participatory gender audits for multiple organisations as a certified participatory gender auditor of the International Labour Organization (ILO).

As Regional Advocacy Coordinator for Gender for the MENA region at CARE International, Amira advocated for better legislation related to gender-based violence in the region and contributed to the implementation of the CARE–MENA advocacy strategy to address gender-based violence, with a focus on child marriage.

Amira maintains deep connections with a variety of key international and national stakeholders, including governments, national and international NGOs, and United Nations agencies. She holds two Master’s degrees, in International Human Rights Law and Development Studies, from the American University in Cairo.

Amira is an active member of the women’s rights movement in Egypt and the Arab region. She believes in the importance of CSOs, especially women-led organisations, to lead and advocate for a meaningful gender transformation in the region.

Katherine Belen is a consultant for UN Women, having worked with more than a dozen country offices in the Asia-Pacific region and Europe, and she has worked with other United Nations and international organisations. She currently manages a development consulting firm based in the Netherlands.

Katherine holds an MBA in International Organisations from the University of Geneva, and a PhD in Political Science for which she researched aid effectiveness, decolonising aid and engaging grassroots organisations in the global South. She received her PhD from the West University of Timisoara, where she also taught courses in political science, for example, on feminism and post-colonialism, for MSc students in International Development.

Currently, Katherine mainstreams gender in United Nations country development frameworks and other sectoral plans in several countries. She also develops evidence-based programme design and strategies to end violence against women for UN Women country offices.

With over 20 years of experience managing gender and human rights programmes, Katherine has worked in Asia and the Pacific, Europe, the Caribbean and South America, to develop strategies for policy and behaviour change, and to uphold the rights of women and marginalised groups. She advises on, and conducts, evidence-based programme design, gender analysis and mainstreaming, research, training, monitoring and evaluation, and rights-based advocacy on issues such as prevention of gender-based violence, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), youth, inclusion and disability, humanitarian action and crisis response.

Katherine also has expertise in programme implementation in the global South, with extensive experience in mobilisation and training for civil society and grassroots community organisations, local governance and participation, policy advocacy, and initiatives to change social norms.

Kingsley Chikaphupha is a researcher with over 16 years of experience conducting research in public health and health systems. He holds an MSc in International Public Health from the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, and is fluent in English, Chichewa, Tumbuka, Yao, Zulu and Sotho. He has contributed to research and development processes by providing technical assistance, consultancy and facilitation in Malawi, South Sudan and beyond. He has also conducted research programmes by applying quantitative and qualitative methods and participatory action and learning approaches. He has also conducted analyses to address socio-economic and development issues, including poverty assessments and equity analyses, and community engagement project monitoring and evaluation.

Kingsley is experienced in using outcome harvesting, Most Significant Change (MSC) and theory of change methods, and conducting data quality and supply chain audits. He also has strong skills in developing research proposals and tools, project management, report writing and dissemination of research results. He has outstanding leadership and mentoring capabilities, including in problem-solving and programme planning and execution. Kingsley has published in peer-reviewed journals, made conference presentations, written blogs and been a panellist at global conferences. He is the current Executive Director of a Malawian NGO called the Research for Equity and Community Health (REACH) Trust.

Kingsley is passionate about human resources for health, working with community health workers, equity, gender, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), addressing tuberculosis, HIV and malaria, non-communicable diseases (NCDs), climate change and health ecosystems. As the Co-chair of the Health Systems Global thematic working group on community health workers, he has a strong policy voice. Kingsley also leads a cluster on participatory action research within the social science (SHAPES) thematic working group of Health Systems Global.

Julien is a pharmacist and Senior Procurement and Supply Management (PSM) Expert based in France. He has over 15 years of experience in supply chain management, health systems strengthening, quantification, health economics, capacity development, inventory and process management, and data analysis. Throughout his career, Julien worked with numerous non-government organizations, USAID, the Global Fund, and Ministries of Health to implement projects in Africa, Europe and Asia. In his former positions as Regional Technical Advisor and Product Management Specialist at the Global Fund, he was tasked to ensure that the overall provision of health services was cost-effective, efficient, appropriate, available, and accessible.

Julien has been working with ResultsinHealth since 2018, supporting the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria in Thailand and Viet Nam. He holds a BSc in Pharmacy and a Master's in Humanitarian and Solidarity from the Claude Bernard University in France.

Kristijan is a Senior Laboratory Expert based in Montenegro. He has over 15 years of experience in lab systems strengthening, health waste management, capacity building, Point of Care testing, evaluation of national and international laboratory facilities, technical and financial tender evaluations of medical equipment, and hands-on training of laboratory personnel. Kristijan has worked with and advised clients in several African, Asian, and Eastern European countries. He also designed and delivered workshops and training courses to laboratory technicians. Kristijan has been working with ResultsinHealth since 2016, supporting the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria across numerous portfolios, such as Bangladesh, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Tanzania and numerous Latin American and Eastern European countries.

Kristijan holds a BSc in Clinical Chemistry from the University of Applied Sciences in Rotterdam and a Certificate in WHO standards for BSL2 and BSL3 Laboratories (TB-related) from the Royal Tropical Institute in Amsterdam.

Peace is a pharmacist and Senior Procurement and Supply Management (PSM) Expert based in Uganda. She has over 15 years of experience in supply chain management, health systems strengthening, health economics, capacity development, process management, oversight, auditing, and inventory/risk management in developing countries public, private, and not-for-profit health sectors. In her efforts to improve health systems in developing countries, Peace plays an advisory role to public health programs to ensure adequate utilization of available resources and facilitating the access of health commodities to those who need them most. Peace has been working with ResultsinHealth since 2010, supporting the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in Rwanda and Uganda. She holds a BSc in Pharmacy and an MSc in Business Administration from Makerere in Uganda.

Nimeeta Gakhar is a technical specialist in health systems and policy analysis, with experience in health care consulting and project management. She has a clinical background in dental surgery. Nimeeta is trained to improve public health and health care systems by combining multidisciplinary perspectives of policy sciences and health care management in non-profit and for-profit organisations.

She is currently diversifying her health consulting portfolio in pharmacovigilance and risk management, with a vision to make a positive social impact, and is experienced in fulfilling a range of roles within organisations.

Elizabeth is a pharmacist and Senior Procurement and Supply Management (PSM) Expert based in Australia. She has over 20 years of experience in supply chain management, health systems strengthening, capacity development, process management of health commodities. Elizabeth has significant experience with the Global Fund procedures and systems as a former PSM Coordinator with a regional PR for four multi-country grants. She gained a solid understanding of grant architecture from both the proposal and implementation sides and was responsible for the PSM planning, implementation, and reporting for all grants. Elizabeth was invited to participate in the Global Fund’s 6th Partnerships Forum as a lead PSM Expert, assisting in shaping the post-2022 Global Fund strategy.

She has worked with ResultsinHealth since 2012, supporting the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria across multiple portfolios such as Indonesia, Timor Leste, Lao PDR, Nepal and the Philippines. Elizabeth holds a BSc in Pharmacy from the University of Sydney and is a Registered Pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.

Rozina is a pharmacist and Senior Procurement and Supply Management (PSM) Expert based in Canada. She has over 20 years of experience in the supply chain management of health products. Rozina provides technical leadership and direction for developing innovative strategies and approaches to implementing appropriate interventions aimed at strengthening pharmaceutical management systems, with a focus on the pharmaceutical sector governance, including legislation, policy, quality assurance, pharmacovigilance, and pharmaceutical sector financing, complimented with support on strengthening forecasting, quantification and procurement processes. Rozina previously served a 10-year tenure at the Global Fund, where she contributed to the Fund’s impact to help build more resilient and sustainable public health institutions and systems in Southeast Asia and Southern and Western Africa.

Rozina has been working with ResultsinHealth since 2020, supporting the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria across large portfolios such as Indonesia, Bangladesh and India. She holds a BSc in Pharmacy from the State University of N.Y. and a Ph.D.in Pharmacy from Albany College of Pharmacy in the USA.

Kerstin Beise is based in Indonesia and has more than 20 years of professional experience working for and with people with disabilities and people affected by leprosy, with young people, older people, women and girls living in poverty and other marginalised, vulnerable communities in Asia and Africa. Kerstin always takes an intersectional perspective, and her work focuses on supporting marginalised people to exercise their power to realise their rights, reducing stigma and promoting access to health, social protection and education, economic justice and community-based, inclusive and rights-based development. She has a keen interest in improving access for all to rehabilitation services and promoting disease management, disability and inclusion (DMDI), especially among people affected by neglected tropical diseases (NTDs).

As a researcher, Kerstin has extensive expertise in developing and coordinating projects and conducting quantitative and qualitative, participatory and emancipatory research, desk reviews, needs assessments, baseline studies and participatory data analysis. She uses a wide range of tools from focus group discussions to participatory rural appraisal (PRA) exercises, photovoice and Most Significant Change (MSC).

As former department head in a large international NGO and now as Executive Director of her own local NGO, she has extensive experience in project development and management and is particularly passionate about safeguarding meaningful participation of target groups. She is especially focused on projects that ensure social inclusion and community engagement, and human rights-based programmes with an emphasis on community ownership.

As a freelance consultant, she conducts training, feasibility studies and project evaluations in social programmes and in community development, community-based rehabilitation (CBR) and inclusive development (CBID). Her geographical experience includes assignments in Indonesia, India, Cambodia, Vietnam, Mozambique, Thailand, Nepal, China, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.

Kerstin is German and is a trained physiotherapist with a degree in Indonesian Literature and a Master’s in Disability Studies.

Celestine is a pharmacist and Senior Procurement and Supply Management (PSM) Expert based in South Africa. He has over 30 years of experience in health systems strengthening, health economics, capacity development, process management, and data analysis. Throughout his career, Celestine has undertaken critical assessments of the capacity of national pharmaceutical systems to procure, store, and distribute health products. He conducted numerous spot checks on product availability and provided technical assistance to enable the governments to improve access to essential medicines.

Celestine has been working with ResultsinHealth since 2018, supporting the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria in Sierra Leone. He holds a BSc in Pharmacy and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Zimbabwe.

Oce is a pharmacist and Junior Procurement and Supply Management (PSM) Expert based in Indonesia. She has over 10 years of experience in procurement, quantification, and supply chain management of pharmaceutical products at the provincial and national levels. Previously, Oce worked as an Essential Drug and other Medicines (EDM) Consultant at WHO Country Office in Indonesia and as a Senior project coordinator under Promoting Quality of Medicines Program USP Indonesia, funded by USAID. Throughout her career, Oce provided technical supervision and monitoring for the effectiveness of PSM at the pharmaceutical warehouses at province and district levels.

Oce has been working with ResultsinHealth since 2022, supporting the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in Indonesia. She holds a BSc in Pharmacy and an MSc in Public Health from Gadjah Mada University in Indonesia.

Ms. Ciptasari Prabawanti is an NGO professional with 25 years experience managing and implementing programs, research and capacity building.

She has collaborated with ResultsinHealth in several projects such as Strengthening Community Systems to reduce vulnerability to and the impact of HIV infection on men who have sex with men and transgender people (funded by Isean Hivos), and operational research on Access to Sexual and Reproductive Health Services for Underserved Youth (funded by Rutgers Indonesia).

The major expertise of is Ms. Ciptasari Prabawanti in the field of HIV/AIDS, reproductive health and family planning. She also has strong skills in behavior change interventions/communication and the prevention of sexual transmission aspects among key affected populations including female sex workers, transgender people, men having sex with men and sex worker clients. Her work locations include Indonesia, Philippines, and Timor Leste. She has also provided technical leadership and assistance for capacity building and managing collaboration in close partnership with both government and strategic partners, including local Indonesian NGOs, to reach key affected populations. She also has extensive experience in research, program evaluation, training and facilitation. Ms. Ciptasari holds a PhD degree from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands.

Ms. Ciptasari is also director of Siklus, a non-profit organization working in the area of public health.

Djibril is a Senior Laboratory Expert based in Senegal. He has more than 10 years of experience in strengthening laboratory quality systems, capacity building, healthcare waste management, and medical laboratory equipment deployment. During his career, Djibril conducted the WHO Prequalification of the FACSCount CD4 and Pima CD4, contributed to the implementation of the CD4 National EQA Program in Senegal, and worked as a Clinical Research Associate to monitor the Ebola vaccine trial in Guinea and Sierra Leona for WHO. His contribution as a scientist and laboratory expert allowed him to be selected as one of the 2019 African Rising Stars by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the African Academy of Sciences.

Djibril has been working with ResultsinHealth since 2021, supporting the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria in countries such as Malawi, Sierra Leone, CAR and DRC. He holds a BSc in Natural Sciences from the University Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar in Senegal and a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Antwerp in Belgium.

Cristina F. Garces has over 20 years of experience in rights-based global health and sustainable development. She has been involved in technical areas that include HIV, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), tuberculosis and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), as well as health systems strengthening, capacity-building, donor and stakeholder coordination, malaria, gender, women’s and girls’ empowerment, youth, and assistive technology and inclusion.

She has most recently served as a global health diplomat coordinating the United States Government HIV response in Asia. While her experience is mostly in global health, Cristina also has experience managing a global project on climate change, agribusiness, land reform and other global advocacy efforts. Her country/field experience includes Brazil, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos PDR, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Philippines, Tajikistan, Thailand, Uganda, USA, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Cristina is from the United States and currently lives in Nairobi, Kenya.

Helema Bekele Mosisa is a physician by training with extensive experience in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and the general health sector. For more than eight years she has worked as a clinician and in the development sector, with a focus on public health for young people and vulnerable groups. She has direct experience with the implementation of large-scale SRHR programmes, such as Get Up Speak Out and Yes I Do, and the conception of Able Generation for Empowerment, funded by Rutgers and Amplify Change. She has also worked as a core team member in the monitoring and evaluation of various SRHR and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) interventions for development organisations and international consultants.

Helema is currently Deputy Director at a consulting company, where she leads the research and capacity-building/training departments. She is also a certified master trainer on the Gender Transformative Approach and is certified to deliver training in youth leadership and advocacy, meaningful youth engagement and youth-friendly services. She is an experienced trainer and facilitator for mobilising support and local fundraising, having led numerous workshops and designed a variety of training tools and sessions for clients.

Helema is involved in SRHR policy advocacy and has worked with prominent technical working groups led by UNESCO and the Ministry of Health. She revised the coalition’s communication and advocacy strategy document, including documentation of the advocacy journey of the technical working group.

Helema is passionate about advocating for the well-being of young and vulnerable groups on various international and national platforms, including alliance formation, networking and institutional capacity-building.

Karin van den Belt is an independent consultant and owner of Building for Welfare Services, specialised in planning, monitoring, evaluation and learning. With a track record of delivering high-quality work, she has conducted numerous research and evaluation projects, including baseline, mid-term and end-of-term evaluations for organisations such as Terre des Hommes Netherlands, UNDP, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and Plan International.

She has also played a leading role in designing and executing MEL frameworks for entities such as UNDP, Terre des Hommes, Plan Netherlands and Free a Girl. She is committed to ensuring quality work and demonstrating outcomes and impact, which is evident in her passion for facilitating the design and fine-tuning of theories of change, developing results frameworks, and creating data collection and data management tools and learning sessions. She has a thematic background in the fields of human rights and child rights, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), gender equality and capacity-building for civil society organisations.

Hilde Kroes is an expert in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), gender-based violence and gender equality. She has robust experience in advocacy at national, regional and global levels and in capacity-building, and has spent more than 15 years in strategic political analysis, advocacy and diplomacy in the fields of human rights and SRHR, with a focus on young people’s sexual rights. She has worked with civil society, young people, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), United Nations agencies and governments. This means that she has an extensive network, can build bridges and can see things from different points of view.

As a consultant, her projects have involved analysis and development of programmes and policies, such as development of theory of change and advocacy strategies. She facilitates workshops and strategic and learning meetings, and supports the strengthening of civil society. Hilde also conducts qualitative research and is an expert in writing technical papers on SRHR, gender-based violence and gender equality.

She was senior SRHR advisor at the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Directorate-General for International Cooperation (DGIS), where she was responsible for managing multinational SRHR advocacy and diplomacy programmes of NGOs funded by the Ministry. Furthermore, for over a decade, she promoted SRHR and gender equality within the mechanisms and procedures of the United Nations.

Ana Lucía is a pharmacist and Senior Procurement and Supply Management (PSM) Expert based in Honduras. She has over 20 years of experience in providing technical assistance and training in pharmaceutical care, supply chain management, health systems strengthening, and appropriate use of medication. Throughout her career, Ana Lucía worked with various NGOs, governments, and international organizations to implement health programs to improve access to medicines in Honduras and other countries in Latin America. Ana Lucia has been working with ResultsinHealth since 2013, supporting the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria across multiple portfolios in Latin America, such as Peru, Paraguay, Venezuela, Honduras and Colombia, and in Africa and Asia. She holds an MSc degree in Industrial Pharmacy and a PhD in Pharmacy from Universidad Complutense de Madrid in Spain.

Monique is a pharmacist and Senior Procurement and Supply Management (PSM) Expert based in Burkina Faso. She has over 15 years of experience in supply chain management, quantification, designing and evaluating logistics management information systems (LMIS), capacity building, and data analysis. Monique was a member of the national drug registration commission for more than five years in Burkina Faso and has worked on projects designed to strengthen the health systems in Mali, Cameroon, Niger, and the Central African Republic (CAR).

Monique has been working with ResultsinHealth since 2020, supporting the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in the CAR. Monique holds an MSc in International Health from Alexandria University in Egypt and a PhD in Pharmacy from the University of Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso.

Indah is a pharmacist and Junior Procurement and Supply Management (PSM) Expert based in Indonesia. She has over 10 years of experience in supply chain management, distribution of health products, quantification, and data analysis. She has a good understanding of all levels of the Indonesian supply chain process for medicines. Indah was directly responsible for implementing the "One Gate Policy" system in all Puskesmas districts and provinces of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Indonesia.

As a result, a one-stop drug and vaccine management system was created and implemented to account for the cold chain management. Indah has been working with ResultsinHealth since 2022, supporting the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in Indonesia. She holds a BSc in Pharmacy from the Institute of Science and Technology National and an MSc in Health Law from the Soegijapranata University in Indonesia.

Nadiya is a pharmacist and Junior Procurement and Supply Management (PSM) Expert based in Tanzania. She has over 10 years of experience in supply chain management, forecasting, assessment, and assurance of health commodities, data analysis, and quantification. Previously, Nadiya was the lead pharmacist for a USAID-funded Paediatric HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention project where she worked directly with patients at tertiary care hospitals while able to advise national treatment and quantification teams. Nadiya has been working with ResultsinHealth since 2019, supporting the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in Zimbabwe.

She holds a BSc in Pharmacy from Muhimbili University College for Health and Allied Sciences in Tanzania and an MSc in Health Policy and Management from Aga Khan University in Pakistan.

Shireen is a Senior Laboratory Expert based in South Africa. She has over 15 years of experience in reviewing, managing, and strengthening laboratory quality systems. Shireen began LFA laboratory work in 2016 and has conducted expansive spot checks and verification assessments on medical laboratory equipment deployment, joint PSM/Laboratory verification of QA/QC of Pharmaceuticals and Diagnostics, capacity assessments, grant-making support, technical support on equipment tenders, and diagnostics in multiple countries.

Shireen has been working with ResultsinHealth since 2016, supporting the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria across multiple portfolios, such as Indonesia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Eswatini and Lesotho. She holds a Diploma in Medical Technology - Clinical Pathology from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in South Africa and a Post Graduate Diploma in Biomedical Science (Hons.) from Anglia Ruskin University in the UK.

Langton is a pharmacist and Senior Procurement and Supply Management (PSM) Expert based in Zimbabwe. He has over 15 years of experience in supply chain management, health systems strengthening, capacity development, process management, inventory and risk management. Since 2007, Langton has worked in procurement and supply chain systems in various roles, supporting the Global Fund and other international donors. Langton has been working with ResultsinHealth since 2010, supporting the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in Malawi, Botswana and Tanzania. Langton holds a BSc (Hons.) in Pharmacy from the University of Zimbabwe and an MSc in Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the University of Salford in the UK.

Zulfikri is a Senior Biomedical Engineer and Oxygen Specialist based in Indonesia. He has over 20 years of experience in mechanical/electrical engineering, biomedical installation, facility maintenance, oxygen supply management, and design of mechanical and electrical buildings for PSA Oxygen plants. He previously planned and designed gas medical equipment systems for multiple PSA plants in various Asian countries. Zulfikri has been working with ResultsinHealth since 2022, supporting the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria in Indonesia, Cambodia and Lao. He holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Pancasila University in Indonesia and an MSc in Project Management from the American Academy of Project Management in Indonesia.

Andrea is a pharmacist and Senior Procurement and Supply Management (PSM) Expert based in Italy. He has over 20 years of experience in supply chain management, health systems strengthening, health product selection, quantification, procurement, storage & distribution, inventory management, designing and evaluating logistics management information systems, risk management, and rational use of medication. Throughout his career, Andrea collaborated with numerous NGOs, international development organizations, and governments to strengthen health systems in Guinea Bissau, Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, South Sudan, and DRC.

Andrea has been working with ResultsinHealth since 2011, supporting the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria across multiple portfolios in Africa, Eastern Europe and Asia, such as Angola, Egypt and Kazakhstan. He holds a BSc in Pharmacy from the University of Padova in Italy and a Post Graduate Pharmacology Degree from the University of Insubria in Italy.

Joost van der Meer is a medical doctor and epidemiologist with a PhD in Medicine from Erasmus University, Rotterdam. He is officially registered in the Netherlands as a professional in international health and tropical medicine.

Joost has longstanding experience in tuberculosis and HIV, and in scientific and operational research. He also has technical expertise in access to essential medicines, health inequalities, access to health care, and humanitarian aid. He has conducted a number of large evaluations and scoping assignments for Ecorys, the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), various national Red Cross/Red Crescent Societies, Médecins sans Frontières (MSF) and the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He has done operational research for AIDS Fonds, MSF and UNICEF. His donor experience includes the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, for which he has done several assignments and served as a member of its Technical Review Panel.

Joost has management experience as former Executive Director of the NGO AFEW, which works in Eastern Europe and Central Asia to make a positive impact on the HIV epidemic and related infectious diseases. He was also Head of Mission for MSF, and has served as Team Leader for a number of assignments. His regional experience includes countries in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, as well as countries in West, East and Southern Africa.

Paulien Bruijn is a senior advisor in disability, inclusion and development, with 20 years of experience training and advising NGOs, policymakers and organisations of people with disabilities in Africa, Asia and Europe. She focuses on the rights and inclusion of persons with disabilities and other marginalised groups in mainstream development, humanitarian action and at organisational level. Paulien has specific experience in delivering training and giving advice on disability-inclusive humanitarian action, livelihoods, health/sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and communication.

She is also experienced in the training of trainers and self-advocates. She has designed and facilitated both in-person and online training, learning workshops and action learning programmes. In addition, Paulien is proficient in planning, monitoring and evaluation of disability-inclusive programmes, the development of tools, guidelines and learning guides on disability inclusion, and disability inclusion at organisational level, including participatory assessments and change process design, diversity, equity and inclusion training and organisational assessment.
