Medical oxygen represents an essential, often life-saving intervention for patients with advanced respiratory conditions and infections, including severe cases of HIV, Tuberculosis, Malaria, and pneumonia.
Medical Oxygen
During the COVID-19 pandemic, maintaining an adequate oxygen supply became particularly crucial for patients with severely impaired lung function. Yet, despite being a core component of clinical care, reliable, affordable access to medical oxygen remains limited in many low- and middle-income countries.
Our team of Biomedical Engineers brings extensive experience in oxygen systems and equipment. We focus on the design, installation, maintenance, and management of medical oxygen infrastructure, including PSA Oxygen Plants, across various, often challenging environments, from central to district levels. We support governments, international non-profit organizations, and medical facilities in procuring medical equipment, managing supply and logistics flows, and integrating diagnostic equipment.
Our Biomedical/Oxygen activities around the world
Our experts have successfully implemented Biomedical/Oxygen assignments in various regions and developing countries, including Angola, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Eswatini, Indonesia, Malawi, Moldova, Nigeria, Rwanda, Tanzania, Timor-Leste, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
