Programme Manager


ResultsinHealth (RiH) is looking for an energetic Programme Manager to join our Procurement and Supply Chain Management (PSM) team in Leiderdorp. We are recruiting a new colleague with a hands-on mentality who is driven, diplomatic, organized, enthusiastic, tenacious, positive and cheerful.

ResultsinHealth is an international development advisory firm located in The Netherlands. RiH is dedicated to effective disease prevention and to improving access to health care. We strengthen health systems and monitor the progress of program implementation. Based on our work and recommendations, donor agencies and governments make evidence-based decisions on spending for medicines and health products and controlling risks in supply chains for optimized efficiency.

Our largest client is the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GF). Since 2003, RiH has been a trusted and respected partner in evaluating supply chains in countries that receive GF grants. We work in more than 50 countries worldwide with a large group of experts, mainly pharmacists and laboratory specialists.

RiH is a lean and flexible organization recognized for its responsiveness to specific needs while providing excellent and solutions-oriented services to its clients. Recently, we launched RiHRecruit.com; global recruitment services for challenging roles in public health.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the RiH PSM portfolios: Ensure implementation and follow-up of multiple concurrent country workplans and services,
  • Provide administrative support for RiH Experts on contracting, invoicing, communication, travel bookings, visas, report editing, and completeness of deliverables,
  • Participate in New Business activities, develop expressions of interest for funders,
  • Support the development and rollout of new initiatives, including RiHRecruit.com,
  • Coordinate recruitment, maintenance, and management of RiH pool of Experts,
  • Regular communication with RiH experts and partners backstopping teams,
  • Provide coordination and support on supply chain assignments and Global Fund technical areas when applicable (based on skills and interest),
  • Assist with improvements to RiH work processes and tools, strategic initiatives,
  • Represent RiH at conferences, meetings and trainings when appropriate,
  • Coordinate the provision of materials for RiH communication and outreach,
  • Coordinate organization and liaison for meetings or training with experts/clients and in-house capacity building.
Qualifications

You can successfully qualify for the position if you have:

  • A university degree in Social Sciences, Management, (Public) Health, or Operations. Master-level are preferred,
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience managing complex international projects,
  • Preference for candidates with experience in public health, pharmaceutical, non-profit, operations, or supply chain,
  • Experience with working in diverse and international environment; occasional travels required,
  • Required spoken and written fluency in English, preference for additional languages,
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Office 365, etc,
  • Residing in The Netherlands,
  • Dutch nationality, the nationality of an EEA country or Switzerland, in possession of a valid Gecombineerde Vergunning voor Verblijf en Arbeid (GVVA), or a Dutch residence permit with the annotation ‘Arbeid vrij toegestaan. TWV niet vereist’

Our offer

Salary and more:
An attractive and competitive salary in the range of € 3,300 - € 3,800 gross per month (40 hours per week). The salary offer will be based on your experience and qualifications. A contract for 32 - 40 hours per week for 1 year with the possibility of extension, 25 leave days, pension scheme, hybrid working with flexible hours and a home allowance, travel, communication and health insurance allowances, laptop, adjustable office desk, training budget, and more.

Preferred start date October 2026 or earlier.
